Elegant and confident in design, the table displays beautifully radiating satinwood veneers, superb rosewood and kingwood crossbanding throughout, and a richly figured central panel of burr yew. The demilune top is veneered in radial segments and outlined with finely executed banding and inlay.

The bold geometry and use of contrasting woods are strongly characteristic of late eighteenth-century Dublin cabinetmaking.¹

I like walking into a room and seeing a table of this shape. There’s something about the curved front that immediately softens a wall, especially when the scale and color are this good.
